VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver Police have arrested a 37-year-old Surrey man in connection to a double shooting that is believed to be targeted.
On Friday, around 6 a.m. someone wandered into a 31-year old pregnant woman’s home on Industrial Avenue near Scotia Street and shot her. She lost her unborn baby.
Police say after they responded to the scene they found a second person, a 23-year-old Langley man also suffering from gunshot wounds.

Carleton Stevens was arrested last night in Surrey and has been charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of possession of ammunition or firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
The woman remains in serious but stable condition while the Langley man is recovering from his injury.
Investigators expect more charges could be laid as the investigation continues.
