I kicked off the un-official start to summer with a jam-packed weekend on the scene in and around Vancouver this May long weekend.
The Fort Langley Beer and Food Festival, now in it’s second successful year did not disappoint. In fact, they double their space and capacity and once again sold out. 3000 craft beer and food lovers gathered around the Fort Langley Historic Site for a day of live music and beer and food sampling.
Sunday Funday was everything cowboy and country at the 72nd annual Cloverdale Rodeo and 130th Country Fair. From the freestyle skateboarding championships to bullriding, Ribfest and the new cowboy calendar, fun was had by all!
I was honoured to have Queen Victoria chat with me on the NEWS1130 airwaves before her annual birthday celebration at Burnaby Village Museum about the royal wedding and her secret to longevity!
See you next weekend Vancouver for more fun in the community with NEWS1130
