SURREY (NEWS 1130) – More details are coming to light about what Light Rail Transit in Surrey will look like when it’s operating in a few years.
An updated plan from TransLink shows they’re looking to keep four lanes of traffic on a stretch of 104th Avenue–originally, only two lanes were proposed–with LRT running down the middle of the road.
Other changes to the $1.6-billion project include train stations with larger overhangs and night time safety features.
