The New to You Sale at the Semiahmoo House brought shoppers from all around the lower mainland out to support self advocates from the society. Making a difference in the community – one event at a time.
My weekend wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the annual Surrey Greek Food Festival on until June 18 at the Greek Orthodox Church of Surrey and Fraser Valley.
I met legends in the kitchen and Greek community and more than one named Costa! OPA! Don’t miss this authentic showcase of the Greek culture and be sure to taste the Loukoumades – seriously delicious….move over mini donuts!
Saturday Night local iconic North Vancouver band She Stole My Beer pleased sold out crowds at the Imperial Vancouver. Even after 20 years, the boys continue to rock out classic tunes from The Grateful Dead, Lynard Skynyrd , Neil Yound and more. A do not miss whenever they perform.
Sunday Funday on Commercial Drive for the 9th annual Italian Day on the Drive. A street festival spanning 14 street blocks, drawing in over 200,000 people – all in celebration of Italian food and culture – VIVA Italy!
