Three dead in BC Interior crash

CACHE CREEK (NEWS 1130) – Three people are dead following a crash at a highway junction north of Cache Creek.

“A commercial vehicle travelling south on Highway 97 collided with a passenger car, which had been travelling north and turning left onto Highway 99,” explains Constable Mike Alskov.

“Sadly all three occupants in the passenger car were killed.”

RCMP haven’t released any information about the victims’ identities.

Although it’s early in the investigation, RCMP don’t believe road or weather conditions were factors in the crash.

The highway is open, but drivers should expect delays.
