Heat warning ended for Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – After days of being under a heat warning or special weather statement, Environment Canada says we’re in the clear.

The agency says a heat warning as officially ended for both Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. However, temperatures will remain warm, with highs in the mid-20s for the next couple days. There’s a potential for rain later in the week, but the temperatures are still in the 20-22 degree range.

An air quality advisory remains in place for both the eastern parts of Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
