According to Vancouver Police, Daine Vonbillings failed to return to his halfway house in the downtown area by curfew.
He was last seen leaving the house at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday in a pick-up truck that he had permission to drive. Police say the truck was found later on in the day at Cypress Bowl with a back window smashed.
The 58-year-old was on day parole for second-degree murder committed in the 1980s.
Vonbillings is described as white with facial hair, long grey hair which is often in a ponytail, and blue eyes. He’s 6’3″ tall and weighs 186 lbs.
He has a number of tattoos. They include a butterfly and skull on his right hand, a unicorn and heart on his right arm, and a black rose and flaming star on his left arm.
