Two killed in multi-vehicle crash in Surrey

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Surrey RCMP say two people died in a multiple vehicle crash on Saturday at the intersection of 176th Street and 96th Ave.

Officers were called to the scene at about 4:55 p.m. and have confirmed that a 54-year-old woman and 27-year-old woman died in the crash. Both were inside the same vehicle.

Surrey RCMP has not released any information on the condition of occupants in the other vehicle involved.

The intersection was partially closed for most of Saturday evening, but the on-scene investigation was completed by 12:30 a.m. on Sunday when the road re-opened.
