Canada-wide warrant issued after sex offender fails to return to half-way home

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a convicted sex offender who failed to return to his half-way house in Vancouver Tuesday morning.

Police in Vancouver say 46-year-old James Allan Pike is serving a long-term supervision order after a violent sexual assault in 2001.

“He has been living in a Vancouver half-way house and failed to return as required on September 11,” read a release from police.

Pike is described as white, about 5’8” and 160 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes, and glasses.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and was carrying a large backpack.
