VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A high school teacher in Dawson Creek who said a female student would be a ‘good prostitute’ has been ordered to upgrade training.
The Grade 9 Social Studies instructor has already completed a seven day suspension without pay for comments made in January. He told a female student who jokingly asked if she could study the role of a prostitute was told, “No, you would not be a good prostitute.”

The teacher then suggested another female student that would be a “good prostitute,” and he did not apologize until an investigation was launched.
He’s now been ordered to take a Reinforcing Respectful Professional Boundaries course at the Justice Institute of BC
This isn’t the first time he’s been disciplined for inappropriate behaviour and if he doesn’t complete the course by April 30th, he faces more action.
