Driver caught going over twice the speed limit in Richmond

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) – Mounties in Richmond have busted a driver accused of literally racing to catch to a movie.
They say a car was clocked going 134kph down Steveston Highway, which is a 50kph zone.
A tweet from the RCMP suggests the leadfoot driver was trying to get to SilverCity Riverport in time to catch a flick.
Instead, police impounded the car and handed the driver a ticket for excessive speeding worth $483.
