A Surrey family has been found safe but mystery still surrounds the Anderson's disappearance earlier this week

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A Surrey family that was reported as missing earlier this week has been found safe.

The Andersons were reported missing by another family member on Tuesday evening.

Mystery still remains about where the family of four was found, or where they’ve been as Mounties have not provided any details.

Sheldon, 43, Nona, 45, and their two daughters Chanel, 13, and Mariah, 10 were last seen on Sunday, and heard from on Monday.

But after that, there was no communication from them, and a concerned family member contacted police.

The family van was seen on surveillance video pulling out of the parking garage of their home on Tuesday.

Police had asked the public for help in locating the Andersons, and said they were getting tops and reports of sightings all week. At the time, the Surrey RCMP had said the family may have gone to Alberta, which is where they are originally from.

It’s unclear if that’s where they were found. Mounties say “no further information can be provided.”
