Surrey RCMP issue arrest warrant for suspect in Surrey stabbing

SURREY (NEWS 1130) — Surrey RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for Malcolm Drydgen, whom the police suspect of stabbing another male last June at a Surrey hotel. Drydgen is charged with aggravated assault.

He is 29 years old and described as approximately five foot eight inches tall and 170 lbs, with a slender build. He has short black hair with a receding hair line and has brown eyes.

Police believe Drydgen may be in the Lower Mainland or possibly in Alberta and that this was an isolated and targeted attack.
