Warrant out for man suspected of damaging register, attacking Tim Horton’s customer over an Iced Capp

NEW WESTMINSTER (NEWS 1130) – Police have identified a man they think threw a cash register in a New West Tim Hortons last week — all over an Iced Capp.

They’re looking for Alan Sam Deguillaume. He’s 28 years old, and the arrest warrant has been issued for all of B.C.

The man ordered an Iced Capp at the Tim Horton’s on Carnarvon Street and complained the order was wrong, just after 7 p.m. on Sept. 6.

Police say the man then started to insult staff and then poured the beverage onto the counter. He continued to insult staff and then pushed the computer register off the counter and walked out.

At one point, another customer tried to step in. The suspect reportedly kicked and punched that person.

No one was seriously hurt.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early to mid 20s with a medium build. He is about 5’6″ and has short brown hair. He was wearing a pink t-shirt and black pants.

If you have any information about this incident, you’re asked to call New Westminster Police at (604) 525-5411.
