Chilliwack RCMP finds drugs after pulling over suspicious driver

CHILLIWACK (NEWS 1130) – A 41-year-old man from Chilliwack has been arrested after Mounties found drugs in a car he wasn’t supposed to be driving.

Police seized fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamines and cash after pulling him over on Friday afternoon, Oct. 12. Jeff Brian Aubie has now been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police have released him from custody pending a court date in October.

“An alleged driving offence observed by a plainclothes officer led to the seizure of illegal drugs,” says Cpl. Mike Rail, spokesperson for the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment of the RCMP. “RCMP are committed to keeping the roadways of our community safe.”
