‘Mr. Moosey’ arrives at VPD in world tour to keep officers safe

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – You may have never heard of “Mr. Moosey,” but it turns out the stuffed animal is quite the world traveller.
The moose was given to an officer by a little girl during a traffic stop two years ago in Pennsylvania. The girl told the officer that her moose would keep him safe.
Since then, the highly decorated moose has gone on a tour and visited dozens of police departments.
His latest stop? Vancouver.
Photos of Mr Moosey online show him riding on police cruisers, flying around in helicopters, and even helping catch speeding drivers.
A Facebook page called “Mr. Moosey’s world tour” has been keeping track of all of his adventures and posts photos of his latest trips.
