Homeowner will pay $28 more next year in Metro Vancouver taxes and fees

METRO VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – It’s going to cost homeowners an extra $28 for Metro Vancouver’s services next year.
The regional district’s board approved next year’s budget and five-year plan, which includes more money for sewage projects, drinking water and garbage pickup.

Homeowners already pay an average of $530 in Metro Vancouver fees and taxes each year, and that’s expected to rise by more than $200 over the next five years.
The changes were recently presented at a meeting of the Board of Directors of Metro Vancouver. It’s part of the 2019 to 2013 Financial Plan.
