Highway 1 reopened in Surrey following fatal crash

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – One person is dead following a fiery crash in Surrey.

Highway 1 has reopened near 176th Street after being closed for several hours.

A commercial dump truck caught fire after hitting the overpass just after 3:00 a.m. Tuesday. Pieces of debris could be seen scattered across the highway, following the deadly crash.

Dozens of police vehicles were parked along the highway, blocking traffic for much of the morning rush hour.
