Pat Quinn statue cleaned up after it was vandalized

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The statue of Vancouver Canucks legend Pat Quinn is looking good as new after it was defaced over the long weekend.

Quinn’s face was covered in orange paint. Parts of the statue’s chest were also coloured.

Canucks Sports and Entertainment has called the vandalism disrespectful and disappointing.

As of Tuesday morning, it looks like the paint has been washed off.

Quinn was a Canucks player, coach, GM, and president before he passed away in 2014 after a long illness.

The statue, located outside Rogers Arena, was unveiled in February, 2017.
