BURNABY (NEWS 1130) – The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is trying to develop a timeline following a car crash on the Barnet Highway over the weekend that resulted in the death of a 34-year-old woman.
Nicole Hasselmann, also known as Nicole Porciello, was taken to hospital after the crash but died in hospital. A man involved in the crash was also taken to hospital but is expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators later said the woman’s injuries indicated foul play.
Anyone who may have seen Hasselmann or the grey Kia Sorento on Nov. 16 is being asked to contact IHIT.
Investigators say she may have been near Ridgeview Drive or Barnet Highway in Burnaby or on College Park Way in Port Moody.
