One dead after Surrey shooting Monday morning

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A shooting in a wealthy Surrey neighbourhood Monday morning is now that city’s latest homicide.
Police say the victim was found shortly before noon on Southview Drive near 146th Street in the Panorama Ridge area.
“Despite all attempts to revive the individual they succumbed to their injuries,” Surrey RCMP said in a release.
Integrated Homicide Investigators have been called in to work together with police.
The area will remain cordoned off for an “undetermined amount of time.”
“Police are currently in the evidence-gathering phase, no further information will be provided at this time,” RCMP said.
