PHOTOS: Flooded streets, submerged cars in Metro Vancouver following heavy rainfall

METRO VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Metro Vancouver streets flooded following a wind and rainfall warning across some areas of B.C.

People took it to social media to share photos of flooded streets and submerged cars.

Public transit was also affected, with a section of the SkyTrain being forced to close down because of flooding.

Commuters had to deal with delays on the Expo Line after service was suspended between Columbia and Sapperton stations, as well as Columbia and Scott Road.

Meteorologist Michael Kuss says it will be windy, but mainly dry Tuesday afternoon, which should help things go back to normal.
