SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A pedestrian is in serious condition after she was hit around 7:30 p.m. in Surrey Thursday evening. Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
A woman in her 50s was struck as she was crossing the street at 104th avenue at 156th street just before 7:30pm.

Staff Sgt. Monses with Surrey RCMP says she has fractures on her arms, leg and pelvis.
“The vehicle remained on scene. The driver was co-operative,” he says.
Her condition is described as serious but non-life threatening.
All roads in the area have been re-opened.
