Man stabbed by two people with masks in Mission

MISSION (NEWS 1130) – A man was taken to hospital Tuesday night after he was attacked by two people wearing masks.

Cpl. Nathan Burzi with Mission RCMP said the incident happened near the area of Cedar Steer and 14th Avenue around 11 p.m.

“The adult male suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to hospital where he is currently in stable condition,” Burzi said.

Police say there is no reason to believe there is a risk to the public.

“Based on the information gathered to date we believe that this was a targeted attack and that there is no risk to the public,” added Burzi, noting the victim was known to police.

A team of investigators has been assigned to the case.
