NANAIMO (NEWS 1130) – A provincial by-election that could threaten Premier John Horgan’s grip on power is seeing more people cast a ballot than in the last B.C. election.
The first two days of advance voting in Nanaimo’s by-election has already seen about seven per cent of eligible voters cast a ballot.
Elections BC says almost 3,200 people voted on Tuesday and Wednesday. That’s almost 250 more than in the first two days of advance voting during the 2017 provincial election.

The by-election to replace NDP MLA Leonard Krog may shake things up in the Legislature. If the BC Liberals win, they will have as many seats as the NDP-Green alliance.
The by-election is next Wednesday.
