VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A positive end to the story we first told you about Saturday of a family’s pet dog thought to have been stolen from a family in East Vancouver earlier in the week.
Andrea Spiegel’s dad had left their two-year-old pup Luc in the car near Main and 15th on Wednesday evening, but after coming out of class saw his window smashed and their pet gone.
The heartbroken family pleaded for any help from the public, and put up a $2,000 reward for Luc’s safe return.
On Sunday morning Spiegel posted an update to her Facebook page saying Luc had been found at around 9 am.
She says a Good Samaritan got a glimpse of the pet and took her parents to him.
She says they’re on the way to the vet right now to get Luc checked out, but he seems to be in good health. Spiegel thanking everyone for their kind thoughts and help.
