Chilliwack house gutted in early morning fire

CHILLIWACK (NEWS 1130) – An early morning fire has all but destroyed a home in Chilliwack.
The fire broke out at about 6:30 a.m. on Friday on Wellington Ave. near Corbould St.
When crews arrived, the saw flames coming out of a bedroom on the first floor of the two-storey building.
There is major damage to the interior of the home and the roof was completely destroyed.
Although there were people at home when the fire broke out, no one was hurt. They are being cared for by Emergency Social Services.
The fire is believed to have been an accident.
