Many articulated buses have been taken off the road, replaced by standard (more crowded) buses. There’s a slight reduction of service on the Expo and Millennium Lines due to snow and icy conditions.

There is a shuttle train between Columbia Station & Lougheed Station. HandyDart is running at essential service levels.

The snow stopped falling late yesterday, but we are certainly still feeling the effects today.

Many roads are icy. There’s compact snow on others and freezing temperatures across the region.

WATCH: NEWS 1130 meteorologist Russ Lacate says more snow is on the way

Enjoy the relatively calm conditions this morning because we are in between systems with more snow expected later today.

Environment Canada’s latest snowfall warning is calling for a “long period of snowfall” starting this afternoon and continuing into tomorrow morning. Up to 10 to 15 cm is expected to fall in some parts of Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

We’ve seen plenty of postings from listeners showing snow up to 30cm deep in places more heavily hit yesterday.
