VPD looking for federal offender who walked away from halfway house

Joseph Davis, 47, is a four-time federal offender, currently serving sentence for sexual assault

UPDATE: Joseph Davis was arrested on February 17 in Quebec.

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Police in Vancouver are trying to track down a four-time federal offender who hasn’t returned to his halfway house.

Joseph Davis, 47, is currently serving a four-year sentence for sexual assault. The VPD says he didn’t return for curfew Monday night.

Davis is on release under a long-term supervision order.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Davis is white, 5’8″ and 178 lbs. He has short blond hair, blue eyes, and several tattoos on his arms. He was last seen wearing a black rain jacket, blue jeans, and work boots. He was carrying a small backpack.
