Woman in dumpster lifted into back of garbage truck in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – A woman who was inside a dumpster escaped unharmed after she was lifted into the back of a garbage truck in Kamloops earlier this week.

The truck was apparently on its way to empty another load on Monday before the driver noticed the woman had fallen into the truck from the container.

When firefighters arrived, the woman was on top of the truck and was rescued by ladder.

Fire crews say she was “very lucky,” as some people have ended up with broken legs or even died after they were caught in dumpsters being unloaded by garbage trucks.
