The storm that hit Ontario Tuesday is headed to the Maritimes

Much of the region is under a winter storm warning

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) –┬áIf British Columbia’s stormy has seemed bad, you may want to avoid heading out east.

Schools and businesses are closed and flights have been delayed throughout the Maritimes as a massive storm moves into the region, a day after it wreaked havoc in southern Ontario.

All of New Brunswick and P.E.I., as well as much of Nova Scotia and southern Quebec, are under winter storm warnings of snow, ice pellets, wind and freezing rain.

The weather has been blamed for mass flight disruptions and widespread closures of schools, tourist attractions and municipal services.
