VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Shocked, disturbed and left with few details — that’s how one mom felt, after learning students at her daughter’s highschool had published a ‘gay list’ of 100 students.

Edie Chang’s daughter goes to Eric Hamber Seconday School, and she says bullying is unacceptable.

“This is the first of what I heard was going on at school — I had no idea that a list was going around. An email comes to me, and then it’s in the news,” she says.

Letters were sent to parents after the list came to light, but Chang says the letter wasn’t specific enough and just cited a ‘serious breach’ of conduct.

“This is crazy. There’s not enough information here, what grade this is affecting, how many children are on the list. How big is this list?”

Chang is asking for more information to be delivered in a timely matter from the school in the future.
