VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – We may complain about the rain or delays on transit, but a new ranking finds our weather and transportation are just some of the reasons why Vancouver is a great place to live.
In fact, our city is the only place in North America that made Mercer’s top 10.
Vancouver came in third place for things like good weather and access to transportation. Even our housing, medical care and political climate is considered world class.
The next-best performing Canadian city was Toronto, which came in 16th. Ottawa took 19th place, and Montreal came in 21st. Calgary came in 32nd.
The rest of the top 10 was made up of European cities, with Vienna getting the gold medal for the 10th year in a row.
