Abbotsford man charged with conspiracy to commit murder arrested, another accused still at large

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A suspected gangster from Abbotsford has been arrested in Kelowna following a two-week manhunt.

Pashminder Boparai, 30, was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on accusations he conspired to commit murder.

Boparai is one of four men charged. Last month, police said the believed targeted of the killing conspiracy was another gang member, noting the murder did not happen.

Another man — Moeen Khan, 22, of Surrey — is still at large. If you have any information about his whereabouts, you’re asked to call police.

Two other men from Ottawa were already under arrest in the case.
