RCMP asking for dashcam footage, as Mitchell Island shooting victim remains in hospital

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) – A 25-year-old man who was shot at a training facility on Mitchell Island in Richmond on Tuesday is still in the hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been made in the case.
It happened at about 9 a.m. at the BC Maritime Employers Association’s training centre of Twigg Place. A man dressed in all black was reportedly seen running away from the facility.

The man who was shot was seriously hurt.
Shortly after the shooting, a car fire was discovered on No. 7 Rd. near Westminster Hwy. Mounties say the two incidents may be related, but can’t yet say for sure.

Mounties are hoping someone who was travelling across the Knight Street Bridge between 8:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. that day might have dashcam or other footage that could help investigators.
