VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — An early morning stabbing in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside sent three people to emergency including a local man in his 30s who suffered serious injuries.
Police say he’s one of two bystanders who tried to break up a fight between a man and a woman near Carrall and East Hastings, shortly after 2 a.m.
The other victims are two women also in their 30s and from Vancouver.
They are the woman involved in the initial altercation and the other by-stander who tried to intervene.
Their injuries are believed to be minor.
A 45-year-old man from Vancouver remains in custody, but no charges have been approved yet.
