Some of the most active companies traded Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (16,089.33, down 155.26 points).

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Industrials. Down 10 cents, or 3.55 per cent, to $2.72 on 50.1 million shares.

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB). Health care. Down 68 cents, or 5.32 per cent, to $12.10 on 20.4 million shares.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Energy. Down 42 cents, or 4.26 per cent, to $9.43 on 10.4 million shares.

Crescent Point Energy Corp. (TSX:CPG). Energy. Down 20 cents, or 4.29 per cent, to $4.46 on 6.4 million shares.

TransCanada Corp. (TSX:TRP). Energy. Up one cent, or 0.02 per cent, to $60.67 on 6.2 million shares.

Toronto-Dominion Bank. (TSX:TD). Financials. Down 86 cents, or 1.15 per cent, to $74 on 6 million shares.

Companies reporting:

Goldcorp Inc. (TSX:G). Down 43 cents or 2.9 per cent to $14.51. Investors are raising concerns about Newmont Mining Corp.’s proposed takeover of Goldcorp Inc. as early April votes on the deal approach. Hedge fund giant Paulson & Co. Inc. said in a letter that it believes the US$1.5-billion premium offered to Goldcorp shareholders is unjustified given the company’s poor performance.

WestJet Airlines (TSX:WJA). Down 14 cents to $19.10. WestJet plans to stick with deliveries of Boeing 737 Max aircraft once regulators approve the plane for re-entry into service. The Calgary-based airline says it won’t follow the lead of Indonesia’s flag carrier, which cancelled its multibillion-dollar order for 49 Max 8 jets, citing a loss of confidence after two deadly crashes in the past six months. Air Canada declined to say if it still has faith in the plane.

Just Energy Group Inc. (TSX:JE). Down three cents to $4.58. Just Energy says it is eliminating 200 jobs in a move that will save $40 million in annual costs in its upcoming financial year. The company, which sells electricity and natural gas and provides other services to consumers in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, says it will incur about $9 million in severance costs in the fourth quarter of its 2019 financial year, which ends March 31.

Heroux-Devtek Inc. (TSX:HRX). Up 21 cents to $15.94. Heroux-Devtek says CEO Gilles Labbe will become executive chairman of the aerospace company’s board of directors and he’ll be succeeded as president and chief executive by Martin Brassard. Brassard has worked for Heroux-Devtek for 25 years, and is currently an executive vice-president and the company’s chief operating officer.

BRP Inc. (TSX:DOO). Down $2.90 or 7.5 per cent to $35.61. BRP says its fourth-quarter revenue was up 22.8 per cent from a year earlier to $1.51 billion, beating analyst estimates and propelling the Quebec-based company’s three-month profit to $82.7 million. The maker of Ski-Doo snowmobiles, Can-Am wheeled vehicles, boats, outboard motors and other recreational products says its fourth-quarter profit amounted to 84 cents a share, up 23.5 per cent from a year earlier.
