Richmond man tries to sell watch on Craigslist, ends up robbed at gunpoint

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) – Mounties in Richmond need help finding an armed robber who stole a luxury watch from someone who was trying to sell it on Craigslist.

Mounties were called to Alberta Rd. near No. 4 Rd. at around 9 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2019. The 38-year-old Richmond man was trying to make a sale on the watch when the buyer apparently took out a gun and stole it from him.

He’s described as a white man with a medium build. He was wearing a camouflage hoodie, brown or grey jeans, and a baseball cap at the time. The man also had a full sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

He was last seen driving away in a dark-coloured, newer-model Ford SUV.
