The family of a 12-year-old Abbotsford boy is frantic, police say, after he went missing on Saturday afternoon near a skate park on Clearbrook Road.
His mother had dropped him off at the park at about 3:30 p.m., and when she came back two hours later to pick him up, he wasn’t there.
Sergeant Judy Bird says the family, and police, are concerned for his safety.
“This is very out of character for him, so we do have a lot of resources in place, the police department trying to track him down,” she says. “So we’re asking our community if they have any information at all, to please give us a call.”
