Charges to be considered against VPD officers after man falls from bike

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A case involving a man who was seriously injured while he was followed by Vancouver Police has been forwarded to the B.C. Prosecution Service.
It will consider charges for the officers who were following the man when he fell off his bicycle on Hamilton Street.
It happened at about 2 a.m. on Sept. 12, 2018.
The Independent Investigations Office hasn’t released many details, but says the man was seriously hurt when he fell from the bike.
The officers were in an unmarked vehicle at the time.
