Canada, India, Croatia named competitors in 2019 Celebration of Light

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – We now know the three countries that will take to English Bay to light up the skies as part of the annual Celebration of Light festival in Vancouver.
Canada, India, and Croatia will compete this summer.
The event begins on July 27th with India, followed on the 31st by Canada and then concluded by Croatia on August 3rd.
This is the 29th year of the fireworks spectacle. The event draws hundreds of thousands of people each night.
Last year, the number of spectators topped more than 400,000, with people lining beaches and other vantage points to watch each of the three countries compete.
South Korea claimed the winning title in 2018.
