KAMLOOPS (NEWS 1130) – People in Kamloops are being asked to let the city know when and where they find used needles.
Jeremy Heighton of the North Shore Business Improvement Area says the feedback will help create a needle hot-spot map to better co-ordinate resources like needle pick-up. He says the goal is to confirm what is known and also dispel myths.
Residents can report where they find needs through an online form and Heighton says he hopes to have some preliminary data in the next couple of weeks.
