Grains mostly higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO — Grain futures were mostly higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was off 2.40 cents at $4.60 a bushel; May corn rose 3.20 cents at $3.6320 a bushel; May oats wss up .20 cent at $2.8740 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 4.20 cents at 9.0140 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Apr. live cattle was up .47 cent at $1.2642 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle fell .44 cent at $1.4538 a pound; May lean hogs rose 10.33 cents at .8958 a pound.
