Four teens killed in single-vehicle crash in Miramichi, N.B.

MIRAMICHI, N.B. — A single-car crash in New Brunswick has killed four teenagers.

The two young men, ages 17 and 16, and two young women, ages 17 and 18, died of their injuries in hospital after their vehicle left the road last night and flipped over into deep water.

The Mayor of Miramichi says his heart is breaking for the teens and their families, and that they have the love, support, and prayers of the whole community.

The names of the teens are not being released at this time pending notification to their families.

Police say more information will be made available at a press conference this afternoon.
