VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – More than $2.4 million was raised for Coast Mental Health at Wednesday night’s Courage To Come Back Awards gala.
The annual event celebrates British Columbians you’ve heard and read about here on NEWS 1130 over the last month across a range of categories. They have found the strength to battle back from adversity.

Funds raised from the signature event will help Coast Mental Health continue to provide the innovative, community-based and client-led programs that have made the organization a leader in community-based mental health care.
About 1,700 people attended the ceremony. NEWS 1130’s John Ackermann and Amanda Wawryk were among the presenters at the event.
