One dead after industrial incident at construction site in Vancouver

One person is dead and another hurt after an industrial incident at a construction site along the Fraser River in Vancouver.

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – One person is dead and another is hurt after an industrial incident at a construction site along the Fraser River in Vancouver.

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed a man in his 20s has died.

BC Ambulance sent crews to the area near Oak St. at around 1 p.m. Tuesday following reports of a possible electrocution. One person has been taken to hospital in stable condition.

WorkSafeBC is investigating, but no other details have been confirmed.
