Murder charges laid in deaths of Calgary mother and daughter

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A man has now been charged in relation to the deaths of a Calgary mother and her young daughter.
Robert Leeming, 34, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of Jasmine Lovett and her 22-month-old daughter Aliyah Sanderson.

The pair went missing last month and their bodies were later found in Kananaskis Country on Monday morning.

The autopsies remain ongoing and the cause of death will not be released in this investigation.
Leeming will make his next court appearance on May 14.
