LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) — Highway 1 westbound has been re-opened after it was closed down because of a crash, according to Drive BC.
Two people were airlifted to hospital after a crash near the 264 street exit.
BC Emergency Health Services said the call came in around 12:15 p.m. on Sunday. Paramedics said one vehicle was sent into the ditch.
“We got a call at 12:15 about an MVI — a single vehicle in the ditch,” Amy Robertson with BCEHS explains. “Seven crews responded, including supervisors.”
Police were asking people to avoid the area to allow access to emergency vehicles.
