VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – It’s never easy satisfying everyone’s musical tastes, but the PNE Fair has just unveiled it’s concert lineup for this summer.

It’s stacked with many recognizable names, especially for the opening weekend.

PNE President and CEO Shelley Frost says she’s excited for it to roll around.

“We’ve got everything from Blue Rodeo, who is really the soundtrack of my 20s, through to I Love the 90s to Billy Idol, to TLC, to Smokey Robinson, to some great ZZ Top 50th anniversary tour. So some really, really great shows coming through the amphitheater this summer.”

But opening weekend isn’t the only one featuring a star-studded lineup. The PNE is closing out the two week series in a big way over the Labour Day long weekend.

“We’ve got great shows all the way through, but a really strong lineup for the final weekend starting with Friday night, we’ve got MC Hammer with special guest Bobby Brown. We’re heading into Saturday night with Billy Idol, and we’ve got Sunday night with The Beach Boys and rounding it out on Monday with TLC — their 25th anniversary tour.”

All the shows at the PNE Ampitheatre are free to attend.
