New Westminster police search for missing woman

NEW WESTMINSTER (NEWS 1130) – Police need your help finding a 23-year-old woman who was last seen on Friday in New Westminster.

Andrea Gus has frequented Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, and police say she may have been seen on Sunday in Surrey’s Whalley area.

“Andrea’s family are concerned and are asking for assistance to locate her,” Sergeant Jeff Scott with New Westminster Police says. “Our investigators have checked in areas where she is known to spend time, however, her current whereabouts is unknown.”

Gus is described as an Aboriginal woman, who is 5’8” tall with a slim build. She has brown hair that police say is usually in a ponytail. Gus also has a tattoo on her should of a music clef.
